Stephen Brady (chess player)

Stephen Brady (March 12, 1969) is an Irish chess player who has a FIDE rating 2331 in 2005. He is FIDE Master.

He became 9 times the Irish national champion, in some cases together with another player, in the years: 1991, 1992, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2011,[1] 2012 and 2015. He has played for Phibsboro Chess Club with whom he has won the Armstrong Cup - Division one of the Leinster Leagues on 7 occasions, more recently he has played for St. Benildus Chess Club.

His favorite chess opening is the Kings Gambit.[2]
