Jackie tells Hyde how much she hates Laurie and she doesn't know what to do about it. He tells her the only way to upset Laurie is to be zen when she insults her like he usually is. He teaches her how to use "whatever" and "that's cool" so that you respond but nobody knows what your really thinking. Later Laurie comes down and starts insulting Jackie, so she responds with Hyde's teachings, but Laurie really insults her and Jackie jumps her, attacks her, and hits her in the eye making Laurie run off. Hyde is impressed and tells Jackie that when zen ends asskicking begins.

Kelso decides that today he's going to eat dinner with Laurie and the Forman's. He arrives late with Red surprised that he's there and Erik tries to tell Red that he invited Kelso. Kelso then tells them that he's there for Laurie giving her chocolates and Red a five pack. Red warns him that he has three seconds to get out of his site and he runs off. Red tells Kitty about how he hates that Laurie is dating Kelso, who if they stay together will end up asking him for money because he won't be able to support a family because he's an idiot. Red finds Kelso and talks to him in the garage and tells him he won't do anything about his relationship with Laurie if he never sees or hears about them together. Kelso is scared and the next time he sees Laurie he throws her down and runs away as Red calls out loudly that he's coming in the room.
