Image copyright problem with Image:NewtComputer.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:NewtComputer.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 11:46, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Fair use images
Hi. I note that you have a number of fair use images on your user page. Please note that such images may not be used on user pages, only in articles within the Wikipedia "main space" - please could you remove these? Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, CLW 23:13, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
Image:William Kresse.jpg original?
Hi Red Alien. Since you are the creator of Image:William Kresse.jpg, do you think you could upload the original image? It is always better to have the source image for any future modifications or uses. Also, having the image in color would be more encyclopedic; why strip out color information from the image? You can overwrite Image:William Kresse.jpg by uploading the original with the same name. Thanks! ~MDD4696 16:59, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject The Beatles Newsletter
| |
Despite it being the lead news article of last month, there is still help required in the assessing of articles and the migrating of comments. Lar is willing to provide assistance to those unsure how to do this.
|
As mentioned in the Project News section, The Beatles article has just been listed for a review of its Featured Article status. Working on this is quite important. If you've just joined, add your name to the Participants section of Wikipedia:WikiProject The Beatles. You'll get a mention in the next issue of the Newsletter and get it delivered as desired. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy! Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 005 – September 2006). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!
