Why?

Why is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_one-off_characters_on_South_Park redirecting here? Theres nothing in this article about the one off characters.

What's all this about a minor character named "Carrie Donald"? I've never even remotely heard of this character before, not even in the Fanfics (and I've read quite a lot of them as well). That leaves me to conclude that either there is something about the show that I'm missing, or that this is just a plain vandalism. One other possibility though, is that Cartman appeared to this person in a dream, and then told him/her about this "Carrie Donald". I myself have had similar experiences with the characters, such as Tweek telling me his first name is actually Roy. (Of course, I won't include that in his article until a concrete confirmation from Trey and Matt shows up.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wilhelmina Will (talkcontribs)

Excuse me! What is this???

I beg your pardon, but what exactly is happening here? Why is Tweek placed in with the main characters? I love the wee lad dearly, and I try my best for him, but even I know that he does not belong here. He had a running prominent role for several episodes in season six, but that's when it ended. I'm sorry, but if he deserved to be called a main character, his role of prominence would have continued onward up to date. I can't bear to remove him from here, myself, though, so could someone else please do it for me. Thank you. Wilhelmina Will July 1st, 2007.

He's not supposed to be here. Someone just added him. His name was wrong as well. It's not "Tweek Tweek"; it's just "Tweek". I keep removing him, and someone keeps adding him.  hmwith  talk 13:20, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm... That would explain why he looked so perplexed, as if he were thinking, "What the hell am I doing here? Aggh!" Anyway, thank you very much for doing the right thing. Wilhelmina Will July 2nd, 2007.

I have wikified the Major Characters section, as well as the Other Prominent Characters section which actually only contained Tweek. I've left that character and section alone and actually moved Butters to it as well. My thinking is simply that "Major" be for the original four characters and "Prominent" be for characters who replaced one of the major four for more than one episode. I specify more than one episode in order to exclude characters like Bebe who "replaced" Cartman in Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society, but only as a brief joke within that episode; no story arc was created. With respect to Tweek's name, I haven't made any change there either because the dispute is still being discussed on the charcter's main article. Dheppens (talk) 20:30, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Residents of South Park

I added a section because it's missing. Also, I think the "Recurring characters" section should be nixed. Satan or Jesus do not currently show up on any of the lists so they shuld be added (probably "minor characters"). DrIdiot 17:49, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If what you meant by "nixing" the "Recurring characters" section was deleting it and instead simply using "South Park residents" (since they're one and the same), you may now consider it done. And no need to thank me, it was not for what. Wilhelmina Will 02:44, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Cartman constantly ridicules his ethnicity"

Someone should translate this for the German Wikipedia edition - the Germans are constantly ridiculed because of their ethnicity too... :-( --217.191.134.130 (talk) 17:34, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One-off characters

This section makes no sense and is pretty much the same as the minor characters section. I'll go ahead and remove it in a few days unless you guys have some reason for keeping it. Thanks! Cerebellum (talk) 14:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where's Satan, Sadam, Jesus, etc?

I don't see these characters listed in the article. Where can I find them?Davez621 (talk) 12:40, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See List of minor characters on South Park. If you see anyone missing feel free to add them, and source the information. -FrankTobia (talk) 14:36, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, they're not listed in that article. Although there are links to them at the very bottom, not in the article itself. This isn't really good enough.Davez621 (talk) 15:42, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that answers your question: they're here, here, and here. I'm sorry that's not good enough for you, but personally I find it acceptable. Though maybe the minor characters article can use a blurb and a link to each's main page. -FrankTobia (talk) 18:46, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isnt Stans full name Stanley and Kenny full name Kendal? Ive heard it on a few episodes Stanley and also kendal on 2 i can remember well. One being the metrosexual one kenny being called KendalKongkit (talk) 03:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)KongkitKongkit (talk) 03:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stan's full name is indeed "Stanley", and this is mentioned in the lead of his article. But his more common name is "Stan" and this is how he should be mentioned elsewhere on Wikipedia. And what you heard was Stan calling Kenny "Ken Doll". - SoSaysChappy (talk) 05:07, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Former Characters

Pip was not killed off in the second season. He clearly appears and has lines in Season 4 episode 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.173.240.141 (talk) 09:46, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
