Miss Gabon is a national Beauty pageant in Gabon. The pageant was established in 2001 by Défis de femmes.
National franchises
Miss Gabon has become official national franchise of Miss Universe in Libreville since 2012. The winner automatically declares as Miss Universe Gabon and represent Gabon at the Miss Universe pageant. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent. The Miss Gabon is also selecting the titleholders to Miss World, Miss Supranational, Miss International, Miss Earth and Miss Tourism World.

- Due to lack of schedule time Marie-Noëlle Ada (2012) and Reine Ngotala (2015) did not compete at the Miss Universe.
- Hilary Ondo (2nd Runner-up 2013) placed as the Runner-up at the Miss Tourism World 2014.
- For the first time in Miss Gabon history, the reigning title Magalie Nguema (2014) represented Gabon at the Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Supranational.

- (*) Miss Gabon 2013 pageant schedule had held in the same time with Miss Universe 2012 pageant. Marie-Noëlle Ada was replaced by her runner-up, Channa Divouvi to compete in 2012 edition of the pageant.[7]
- (*) Ornella Obone was appointed as Miss Universe Gabon 2015 by Miss Gabon, she was the 3rd Runner-up of the 2015 pageant. Reine Ngotala who crowned Miss Gabon actually scheduled to compete at the Miss Universe and Miss World before Miss Universe announced the official schedule. Reine will only compete at the Miss World instead.
