Gianfranco Terrin born in Naples, Italy is an Italian film and stage actor[1]. He is best known for hosting the epic TV mini-series Disney Movie Surfers[2] airing on the Disney Channel, the TV Show that goes behind the scenes of the late Disney Movies. He has filmed many episodes for Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, High School Musical, National Treasure, Wall-E, Ratatouille, Bolt, Tron Legacy, Alice in Wonderland, A Christmas Carol, Prince of Persia and worked with Hollywood stars such as George Clooney, Zac Efron, Jake Gyllenhaal, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, the Academy Winner Andrew Stanton, Kevin Lima, Kenny Ortega, Jerry Brucheimer. Gianfranco studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles where he was the only one ever to be awarded a full 2 years scholarship by the legendary acting coach Anna Strasberg and He is considered by the media and the movie industry to be a young italian "Al Pacino". His career started at the age of ten. He played the role of Psiello in "Round the Moons between Earth and See" directed by G. Gaudino and by the age of 16 had already appeared in the first Italian TV Series "Un posto al sole" and played a pimp in Rosa Funzeca, the movie written and directed by Aurelio Grimaldi. Gianfranco also starred in "Bobby Fischer Live" and "Marlon Brando Unauthorized" directed by the brilliant Damian Chapa (Blood In Blood Out - Street Fighter). He filmed , with actor George Clooney, a National Commercial for Italian company Fastweb [3]. He was among the main cast of the award winning film "Mont Reve". He played the Lead role "Leonard" in the Feature Film "Il Castello di Azzurrina" by director Giacomo Franciosa. He produced and directed "Hysteria 2012",the short documentary nominated at the California International Short Festival. He recently played the role of Adam in the Theatre Play "The Shape of things" by Neil LaBute and starred in CBS's Criminal Minds Beyond Borders[4] where He will play the role of Marco Betti.He has recently worked with Movie icon Director Francis Ford Coppola in his upcoming "Distant Vision"[5] where He plays Z'Luigino and will appear as a Carmine Parone in Ben Affleck's crime drama Live by Night, scheduled for release in January 2017.[6].
