Gianfranco Terrin born in Naples, Italy is an Italian film and stage actor. He is best known for hosting the TV mini-series Disney Movie Surfers airing on the Disney Channel.
Terrin studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles where he was awarded a full 2 years scholarship by acting coach Anna Strasberg. His career started at the age of ten. He played the role of Psiello in "Round the Moons between Earth and See" directed by G. Gaudino and by the age of 16 had appeared in the first Italian TV Series "Un posto al sole" and played a pimp in Rosa Funzeca, written and directed by Aurelio Grimaldi. He also starred in "Bobby Fischer Live" and "Marlon Brando Unauthorized" directed by Damian Chapa (Blood In Blood Out - Street Fighter). He filmed a National Commercial for Italian company Fastweb.[1] He was among the cast of the film "Mont Reve". He played the Lead role "Leonard" in the Feature Film "Il Castello di Azzurrina" by director Giacomo Franciosa. He produced and directed "Hysteria 2012",the short documentary nominated at the California International Short Festival. He played the role of Adam in the Theatre Play "The Shape of things" by Neil LaBute and starred in CBS's Criminal Minds Beyond Borders.[2] He has worked with director Francis Ford Coppola in his upcoming "Distant Vision"[3] where He plays Z'Luigino and will appear as a Carmine Parone in Ben Affleck's crime drama Live by Night, scheduled for release in January 2017.[4]
