Are you certain Joe is the robot? It's heavily implied that the robot in question was hunting him, not that he /was/ the robot.

Isn't Joe "Sniper Joe" ? (a robot from Megaman, who wears a green helmet.)

Father of Death

"Light leaves his and Wily's workshop, plagued by his doubts towards both the future of the city and his partner's intentions, and heads to the home of Emily Stanton, his lover, to meet with her; however, Wily arrives there first, along with one of the robots."

Not exactly, Light was heading to HIS apartment. Emily didn't see him and drove right passed him, she got to his place first, but found Wily rummaging though Lights papers.

From the CD booklet: "Emily Stanton climbed the stairs to her beloved's apartment"
