BATTeRS (バッターズ) stands for Bisei Asteroid Tracking Telescope for Rapid Survey. It is a Japanese project to find asteroids.

It is associated with the Japan Spaceguard Association. Takeshi Urata was a former member of this project. Members include Atsuo Asami, David J. Asher, Shuichi Nakano, etc.

The project has discovered numerous asteroids[1]. It has also discovered the comet C/2001 W2 (BATTERS), later reclassified as periodic (P/2001 W2, or P/BATTERS, P/BATTeRS).
