Hepsi

Yasemin, Gülçin, Eren, Cemre

Hepsi (also called Grup Hepsi) is a Turkish pop/R&B girl group.

Its members are Cemre Kemer, Eren Bakıcı, Gülçin Ergül, and Yasemin Yürük, all from the city of Istanbul and in their late teens. Each member has her own colour – Cemre blue, Eren green, Gülçin pink, and Yasemin purple – in which they usually appear in their music videos. They have a large following in Turkey, made up mainly of teenaged and pre-teen girls.

Pepsi Sponsorship

Recently (summer 2006) they have starred in the Turkish Pepsi commercials, advertising the Pepsi Power Club music download site (which is an important note because it's the first LEGAL music download site in Turkey). There are two adverts, one of which shows what Hepsi were like as they were growing up, starting from when they were children:

Childhood

All of them are sitting/standing next to a shop which has it's radio turned on. One of the girls is singing into an empty glass Pepsi bottle, while the others sing along with her.

Teens

All of them are singing at a party. They're all dressed up in 80s clothes, singing the same song that they sang when they were children. While the camera films them singing and dancing, it focuses at a boy placing his empty bottle of Pepsi on a wooden surface, basically trying to squeeze in more advertisement.

Adults (before they were famous)

They're in the audience of the concert of whoever sings that song, and Hepsi loudly sing along like the rest of the crowd.

Adults (when they became famous)

The same song continues, but this time it's a modern souped-up pop song. They're on stage at their own concert, singing that song, and the crowd goes wild with joy.
