The Alternate Routes are a young rock band out of Connecticut formed by Tim Warren and Eric Donnelly in 2002 while studying music at Fairfield University. The band recorded their debut album entitled Good and Reckless and True in Nashville in 2005. The band subsequently signed with StarPolish Management. The album quickly gaining national publicity and critical acclaim. Bullz.Eye.com rated the album their Top Album of 2005.[1] The Alternate Routes' "Ordinary" won Best Song in the Pop/Rock Category at the 2006 Independent Music Awards. Plus MTV's The Hills featured their song "Please Don't Let It Be" in 2006.

The Alternate Routes are comprised of:

  • Tim Warren - lead vocals, acoustic guitar
  • Eric Donnelly - lead guitar
  • Chip Johnson - bass, backing vocals
  • Stephen Chopek - drums
  • Mike Sembos - Rhythm Guitar, Keyboards
