Season Pages

I think this show should have season pages for each season. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 21:10, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree.Caringtype1 (talk) 22:45, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you help me start them? 68.44.51.49 (talk) 20:50, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider the rules, (WP:SIZESPLIT, WP:SIZE, WP:SPLITLIST, etc.) before doing anything. There has to be sufficient notability before a season article can be created. Lost and Fringe are excellent models for season pages. SchrutedIt08 (talk) 23:39, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thinking about it, the show gets a lot of critical acclaim. The season pages are necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.44.51.49 (talk) 17:45, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you can try it as a test page, then people can take a look at it, and see if it is necessary.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:13, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let's work on it. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 18:19, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Before doing that, you should really consider what SchrutedIt08 has said. You'll really, really have to work to show that the page is necessary and that the information can't be included somewhere else. Look at the examples he provided. You'll have to provide information specific to only season 1, as was done in those articles (and season 2 and all subsequent seasons). This message isn't intended to tell you not to do it. In fact, I'd really like to see articles for this show as comprehensive as the ones for Lost and Fringe. I'm just letting you know ahead of time that it's going to be a lot of work and that something like this isn't going to cut it. Kevinbrogers (talk) 18:27, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with both SchrutedIt08 and Kevinbrogers. Seasonal articles have to be noteworthy and not just copy-paste jobs from the main and episode list articles. If you find c-o-m-p-r-e-h-e-n-s-i-v-e data to add to a season article, then I'm all for it. However, Whitney just isn't as notable as Lost, Fringe or Dexter. — WylieCoyote (talk) 01:26, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For some shows with only one season so far, I think season pages are absolutely needed. But for Whitney, I just don't think so. The main page covers everything i think.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:39, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
