It has been covered by a number of artists. Aswad took the song to #1 on the UK singles chart in March 1988. In 1994 Ace of Base took the song to #4 on the Billboard hot 100 singles chart and to #5 in the UK. It has also been recorded by Tina Turner as a B-side to the single Typical Male and by Jeff Scott Soto, lead vocalist from the band 'Eyes' in 1990.
