Buddy Alexander (February 20, 1953-), born in St. Petersburg, Florida, is the head coach of Golf at the University of Florida at Gainesville. He has also coached at Louisiana State, and Georgia Southern. In his 27 years as a head coach, his teams have produced 13 NCAA Top Ten appearances. He has 72 tournament victories, with 50 of his players earning All-American honors. He also won the 1986 U.S. Amateur Championship.
