Forest High School is a school in Ocala, Marion County, Florida. It has an EMIT (engineering) program. The school's colors are green and gold, and the school mascot is the Wildcat. It is a rival to Vanguard in sports. As of 2006, it had an enrollment of some 1,877.

The Forest High School campus was originally on Fort King Street in Ocala. Ocala High School opened at Fort King Street in 1959. Forest High was renamed from Ocala High School in 1969 with the opening of Vanguard High School. According to tradition, the Marion County School Board wanted the city's second high school to start on equal footing with the first.

Forest High School belongs to the Marion County School District.

Athletics

Forest High School won the Class 3A State Championship in Football in 1974 and 1975.The Forest High School Football Team is terrible, it really sucks, the only team it can beat is Lake Weir(Lake Queer)
