Iganga Secondary School is a girls' school with an addition of visually impaired students. It is located in CMS village in Iganga district, Eastern Region in Uganda.[1][2]

History

This school was founded in the mid 1950s by the Church Missionary Society. It started as a junior girls' school and by 1969 it became a mixed school owned by the government. In 1984 the school remodeled into a girls' school with the last batch of boys sitting for their A'level exams in 1987.Currently, the school is purely a girls' school with visually impaired students.[3]
