This list of future tallest buildings ranks the tallest buildings in the world which are built, planned or currently under construction. Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE at 828 m (2,717 ft) is currently the world's tallest building.[1] In 2020, however it will be overtaken by the Jeddah Tower, currently under construction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with an estimated completed height of 1,008 m (3,307 ft).

China will be home to 21 of the world's tallest 50 skyscrapers by 2020.
Dubai will have four buildings in the world's future tallest 50 buildings, including the world's current tallest.
New York City will have four buildings in the world's future tallest 50 buildings, with two of these currently under construction
Malaysia will have six buildings in the world's future tallest 50 buildings, with all four of them being in the capital Kuala Lumpur. Petronas Twin Towers considered to be two towers.

Future tallest

This is a list of the future tallest buildings in the world. Heights are measured to the structural height, which includes architectural elements, but not communications spires or antennas. All measurements are according to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. In order for this list to remain manageable only the future tallest 50 buildings in the world are included. There was a proposed skyscraper in Japan of a height 1700 m.[citation needed]
