Submission declined on 9 January 2017 by SwisterTwister (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Still not significant to satisfy the applicable standards and there's also no automatic inherited notability from anything or anyone else. SwisterTwister talk 20:52, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
Gustav Åhr - better known as his stage name LiL PEEP, is an American Rapper/Singer originally from Pennsylvania.
History
Gustav Åhr was born November 1st, 1996 in Pennsylvania but eventually moved to Long Island’s South Shore where he spent the majority of his adolescent years. His grandfather and father are professors - Harvard and Hofstra, respectively - and his mother is a first grade teacher.[1].
After dropping out of high school, LiL PEEP moved to Los Angeles to pursue a rap career after uploading his first few songs to SoundCloud in August of 2015, but eventually moved back to Long Island until his fan base grew larger. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
In December of 2015, LiL PEEP dropped his first full project titled LiL PEEP PART ONE on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. It wasn't until his most recent release for HELLBOY where he began really gaining traction. As of Jan. 2017, the project has over 8.8M collective plays on his Soundcloud account. LiL PEEP is described by Pitchfork as "the fresh-faced avatar of post-emo angst that’s not quite rap or rock. Instead, it falls into a grey area full of with spidery guitars, 808 drums, and wall-of-sound production. It’s been described as the “new emo” and “emo trap,” raw and stinging and a direct confluence of his influences—Gucci Mane, Crystal Castles, Panic! at the Disco."[1].
LiL PEEP has sampled many popular artists in the past - "Between his mixtapes, hellboy and crybaby, as well as various one-off loosies and collaborations, he has rapped over samples of Brand New, Underoath, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, The Microphones, Sonic Youth, The Postal Service, and an acoustic performance of "Creep" by Radiohead."[2] He is now in the studio working on new music for 2017.
