I've removed some anti-GAA POV and tidied up the text. There was a lot of duplicated information there because there were two histories, for some reason. I've spliced them together taking care not to lose any of the info, but it still needs a bit more work for readability. A timeline might be a better format than what's there now. I also think that we need more info about the organisation in the present day, the article is heavy on the history but deficient on the present. Also, I think the influence of Kelly and Roche is important enough that it warrants some sort of a mention. Thoughts? --Eamonnca1 (talk) 00:03, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a cited section about Kelly and Roche which I intend to expand into a fuller explanation of what CI does these days. I think a big problem with this article is that the history section is so long and detailed that it dominates the page. I'd be inclined to section that off into an article of its own and replace what's on this page with a less detailed historical summary, but I'm not sure if a child article would survive a deletion discussion. --Eamonnca1 (talk) 21:29, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It would be good to add a section about Irish cyclists, no? I was particularly interested to see if there were any cyclists from the North, and to find out what championships they compete in (GB or Ireland).Gavinio (talk) 11:25, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
