Individual game highlights

It is not appropriate to add text about individual games that professional athletes play unless they are truly notable in some regard. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Words to watch. Wikipedia is not a blog, forum, fan site, advice site publisher of original research, soapbox or directory. It is an encyclopedia based on reliable, verifiable, third-party sources. It does not include personal opinions, commentary, speculation, or non-notable information. It is not a random collection or comprehensive collection of non-notable facts. November 2016

Information icon Hello, I'm Donner60. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Eric Bledsoe— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Not vandalism but still not notable. Every game has a game-winning shot. Donner60 (talk) 05:58, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Every game has a game-winning shot." What are you even talking about? I'm just saying it's still notable enough for the season so far, especially considering it was the team's first regular season win of the 2016–17 season. I mean, we don't remove the fact that Archie Goodwin hit a game-winning three-pointer himself last season against the Atlanta Hawks under rather similar circumstances, now do we? I'm only explaining circumstances at hand for what caused the Suns to get their first victory of the season. Nothing wrong with that, at least, right? – 98.165.173.201 (talk) 06:02, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from making test edits to Wikipedia pages, such as the one you made with this edit to Tyson Chandler, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 06:08, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a newspaper or an indiscriminate collection of information. See also Wikipedia:Notability (events)#Routine coverage. Your edits are basically news or fan site items that will not be of lasting significance or notability unless perhaps they prove to be records or significant milestones in a career, at least at the end season (maybe). Striking second message, not vandalism. No warning needed as it is a matter of interpretation upon which good faith differences could be held. Another editor has pointed out that providing references would be a better showing of notability which could tip the balance in favor of inclusion. So I urge you to at least do that when adding these types of edits. Donner60 (talk) 07:26, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Phoenix Suns, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 07:38, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Danny Granger, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:51, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Danny Granger

I see the source. Sorry for any confusion. Red Director (talk) 04:12, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • That's alright, man. At least you know now. :)
