The Green Party of Delaware is the state party organization for Delaware of the Green Party of the United States.

The Green Party of Delaware was founded in the late 1990s.[1]

In 2002, Vivian Houghton, candidate for Attorney General of Delaware received 10 percent of the vote.[1]

In 2006 the Green Party of Delaware ran Michael Berg a retired teacher and antiwar activist, for Congress in the 2006 midterm elections. He is best known as the father of Nick Berg, one of the first American civilians to be abducted and executed by insurgents in Iraq.[citation needed]

In 2016, the party's candidate for President was Dr Jill Stein.[2]
