Template:Infobox South African town 2011 Ashton is a small town in the Western Cape in South Africa. The town is situated in a luscious valley famous for its great wines and fruit.

Town at the foot of the Langeberg, 10km south-west of Montagu and 19km east-south-east of Robertson. It was established in 1897 on the farm Roodewal and attained municipal status in January 1956. Named after the first station-master.[1]
