Mid-century modern is an adjective, rather than a noun. I don't know if there's a rule among encyclopedia editors that all entries must be nouns, but I can't think of an entry that isn't. Flipping through the Britannica, I find nothing but nouns of one sort or another. If adjectives aren't allowed, the problem can be solved by changing the entry to Mid-century modernism and making the appropriate changes in the text. --Rensselaerswick1637 14:40, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
