Gordon Brothers is an advisory, lending and investment firm that was founded in 1903. The company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. In Europe, the company trades as Gordon Brothers Europe.

Notable projects

The company has been in dealings with many well-known American companies including CompUSA, Linens 'n Things, The Sharper Image,[1][2] Borders Group, Syms, KB Toys, Sports Authority, Blockbuster and Aeropostale (clothing).

In the UK, the company has been involved with the liquidation, property closures, and stock clearances of many High Street names including Focus DIY,[3] Jessops and First Quench Retailing.

In Canada, they are well-known for partnering up with Hilco UK and liquidating Athletes World, Music World and HMV.
