Airbourne is a four piece Australian rock band. They originate from Warrnambool, where they gained a steady following with their pub-rock sound. Their independent eight track EP was released in 2004. In early 2005, the band relocated to Melbourne. Later that year, the band signed a five album record deal with Capitol Records and have since supported Mötley Crüe and The Rolling Stones, as well as playing in several summer music festivals. Their first album is currently being recorded in Los Angeles, California and will be released in Australia in late 2006. Airbourne will begin a national tour in November.
