Specifications

The Heckler & Koch HK433 is a modular assault rifle designed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. It is based on the AR-15 and G36, with 280, 318, 368, 421, 480, and 503 mm (11-, 12.5-, 14.5-, 16.5-, 18.9- and 20-inch) cold-hammered, 178 mm right-hand twist, six-groove barrels with hard chromium plating.[1][2]

H&K is positioning the rifle as a candidate for the German Bundeswehr's competition to select a new assault rifle.[3] The H&K G36, the Bundeswehr's standard gun since 1997, is to be phased out and a replacement is planned to be phased in from 2020.
