Are you here about a deleted article? While I won't undelete ads, attack pages, copyright violations, hoaxes or pages that have no chance of ever being encyclopedic, I'm glad to consider all other reasonable requests. You can also make a request at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion or Wikipedia:Deletion review. |

Yo
I added quotes from Mr. Sankey to his wiki page and it removed it. I believe that that was incorrect and that i did nothing wrong. Please bring back my quotes article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Corey Pollard (talk • contribs) 19:58, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- You seriously think that was encyclopedic and well sourced?--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:02, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
Company Wikipedia Page
Hello,
I created the Ex-Consultants Agency wikipedia page you deleted earlier today for my company. I am wondering how I can go about creating a page for my company that will not be deleted. It was flagged for containing promotional material. I am unsure what was considered promotional on the page. I would like to create something similar to this company's page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HourlyNerd.
Please offer any advice you may have on how to create a business page without it being flagged for deletion.
Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorsawalnutcreek (talk • contribs) 00:38, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Dorsawalnutcreek:First, welcome to Wikipedia. I've left you a welcome message on your talk page that has a lot of useful links about creating pages that will stick around.
- I'm not sure I'd use HourlyNerd as an example of a good page. It's been nominated for deletion a couple of times, and since it reads very much like a press release, is likely to be nominated for deletion again. As an employee of Ex-Consultants Agency, you are likely to have the same problem -- I have yet to see a company's employee be able to write a neutral, well-referenced encyclopedic article about their company. Maybe you'll be the first, but the odds are against you.
- Read carefully through the links in your welcome message, and then make a draft at AfC. Be sure to have it reviewed before moving it into article space, because your first version read like an advertisement and only listed your company's website as a source, which doesn't demonstrate notability.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:56, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Providing with improtance
Hi Fabrictramp, You have deleted the page I've posted about www.molfar.io : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molfar.io
I'm just wondering, what is wrong there? I've mentioned that: - the company provides with a unique methodology of product launch; - the companies research were published in several resources; and - there are some popular apps that the company published.
I reviewed a list of other companies pages and it is mentioned much less than in current. So, I'm just curious what should be there to be published?
Other company profiles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HourlyNerd https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ciklum
Thanks IFortuna (talk) 10:05, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- @IFortuna:First, see the section above about why HourlyNerd is a poor example to copy. Similarly, the article on Molfar.io was written as if it came from the company's "about" page, and did not include any independent, reliable sources showing notability. Read carefully through the links in the welcome message on your talk page to see what's needed for an article to stick around (note, for example, that the article on Ciklum has sources independent of the subject). Then if you want to try again, make a version at AfC and have it reviewed.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 21:01, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Enoon Mai
Do you think it's worth me trying to fix up Enoon Mai? The references are a total mess; some are literally just youtube.com, lots are not RS... I would remove the obvious ones, but it's difficult to tell which refs the author meant when they wrote it [1] [2] [3] etc.
I'd guess (without having actually googled yet) that it may have a chance at notability.
But what do you think is the best approach? Would it be easier to nominate it for deletion, and see if others fix stuff? 86.20.193.222 (talk) 21:35, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's a mess. Unfortunately, being a mess isn't a deletion reason. *sigh* If it were me, I'd do a search, find a single reliable source, nuke the existing text and use that source to write a valid stub. I would normally do it, but I'm about to sign off for the afternoon.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 21:37, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- I did a fair bit of googling, found nothing of note... I was going to try a prod but just now, RickinBaltimore deleted it. So that's that problem solved. Best, 86.20.193.222 (talk) 22:42, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Arabic page
thanks Fabrictramp for your message, however it seems i made a mistake and created arabic page in english wikipedia can you move it to arabic wikipedia and so i can start adding english translation? thanks again https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%88 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beshoyw (talk • contribs) 23:54, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Beshoyw:I don't have that ability. You should start a new version of the page in the Arabic wikipedia and request the English one get deleted with a {{Db-author}} tag.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 00:00, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Ven. Don Ramadon, Roshi
My page Ven. Don Ramadon, Roshi was deleted. It is about me in relation to the page Dainin Katagiri (as a link from that page) - which is a biography. So, I am wondering how I might be able to create a page that offers valid information regarding me being one of his dharma heirs, without it being an autobiography - although people would want to know about me. Pages are created about people while they are still alive. Should I ask a 3rd party to create the page?
Thank you! Don — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dongiles (talk • contribs) 06:58, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- If people want to know about you, you should create your own autobiography on your own website. For Wikipedia's policies on autobiographies, check out Wikipedia:Autobiography, which was linked in the welcome message you got. Asking someone else to create a page for you isnt' a good idea. Not only will there be a problem with conflict of interest, I've done a search and you're going to have problems meeting the notability standards with independent, reliable sources.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 15:54, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Thank you! Makes perfect sense! Don — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dongiles (talk • contribs) 21:44, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Judy O'Bannon page
Can you let me know what specifically the issues are with the page. I am new to creating pages, so I can't seem to find the specific note, but it appears to be with a specific citation. Thanks. Jsqp (talk) 10:03, 13 March 2017 (UTC) jsqup March 13, 2017 6:03AM
