Thiago Bordin (born March 19, 1983, in São Paulo) is a Brazilian/German ballet dancer and choreographer.
He was a principal dancer at the Hamburg Ballett (John Neumeier) and now works as a NDT artist (Nederlands Danse Theater)
He was accepted into the acclaimed Akademie des Tanzes in Mannheim, Germany, when he was spotted by prima ballerina Birgit Keil. After completing his training he received immediate work at the Hamburg Ballet under John Neumeier. After four years in the corps de ballet he was promoted to soloist and eight months later to the rank of Principal Dancer.
A magnificent dancer, Bordin combines grace in movement with purity of line and is a favorite among dance critics. Bordin has been nominated for the award Deutscher Tanzpreis, Der Faust and is recognized for his portrayal of John Neumeier's version of "Armand Duval" The Lady of the Camelias "Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.
