What are the odds, but we both created articles for Jay Dean at the same time. Because I created mine from the previously-deleted article Jay Dean (Texas politician), it had more articles linking to it, but yours had the least ambiguous title, so I moved the contents of my article into yours and added a redirect. Thanks for your hard work! Magnolia677 (talk) 12:10, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Magnolia677: Thanks so much for noticing this! A funny coincidence, but I suppose 'tis the season with new state legislative sessions starting. As I continue creating new articles for Texas state legislators, I'll triple check for existing articles and also check past deletion discussions to see if there is content to build on. Cheers! - A trick to finding all articles about a topic is to add " ~ " before your Wikipedia search, eg. ~Princeton. This will bring back every article on Wikipedia with the word "Princeton" in it, and not let the search engine jump to the most popular article. Also, I added your article to the 50,000 Challange. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:35, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi Marquardtika, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! ~ Rob13Talk 00:48, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

why did you just revert everything? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.251.68.92 (talk) 18:52, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- As I explained in the edit summary, the edits were not an overall improvement to the article. We shouldn't have sub-sections that are just one sentence long; see WP:MOS for guidance. And Breitbart was used as a source. That's a fringe alt-right publication that is far from reliable. Are you the same editor as User talk:50.195.72.217? Your edits are very similar. If so, you should register an account and only edit from it. Marquardtika (talk) 18:56, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
I didnt know about Breitbart being banned from here and I was in the middle of beefing up the small sections. If you didn't like one part of my edit, you should just delete that part (i.e. the breitbart part) instead of deleting everything.
- Please discuss the article's content on the article's talk page so others can follow along. Also, you didn't answer my question--are you the same editor as 50.195.72.217? Marquardtika (talk) 19:00, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
