List of Rick and Morty episodes
Rick and Morty is an American animated science fiction television sitcom which premiered on December 2, 2013, on Cartoon Network's late-night programming block Adult Swim.[1] The series follows Rick, an alcoholic scientist, and his easily distressed grandson, Morty, on their adventures to alternate dimensions. These adventures commonly cause trouble for Morty's family, who are often caught up in the mayhem.
As of April 1, 2017, 22 episodes of Rick and Morty have aired. In August 2015, Adult Swim renewed the series for a third season. [2] The first episode of season 3 premiered without any prior announcement on April 1, 2017, with the rest of the season airing in the summer.

Season 3 (2017)
On August 12, 2015, Adult Swim announced that the series had been renewed for a third season. Writing began on November 2, 2015. Mike McMahan revealed on Twitter that sound recording had begun for season three on February 18, 2016.[26] On February 6, 2017, Dan Harmon announced on his podcast, Harmontown, that the show was in the animation process.[27]
The first episode of season 3 aired unannounced on April 1, 2017, with the official season premiere in summer 2017.[28]

After Rick is sent to jail the family lives in a world with other aliens. While Rick and Summer located the portal gun to find Rick. Rick is in a memory of his past with a version of him from the future before tricking them to get to the other Ricks. Later they meet up at the prison where Rick teleport the Ricks ship to the prison where a huge battle unfolds while Morty has trouble with his trust whiten his family he fakes shot rick in the head before escaping to a apocalyptic earth were everyone is safe and Rick talks to Morty about his Mulan Dipping Sauce Craving along with the fact that he wants Jerry to not be on any more missions Post-Credit Scene: Tammy exams a altered version of bird person called "Phoenix Person" while she wants it to be "cyber bird" before latching on and flying off | |||||||

The Non-Canonical Adventures (2016)
On October 26, 2016, Adult Swim released a series of 16–18 second claymation shorts titled "The Non-Canonical Adventures", placing Rick, Morty and others into parodies of sci-fi/horror films.[32]
