Peer Review

Hi Arue! This article on Daisy Deomampo is off to a great start! You provided significant information about her career and education; this would be a strong text to have under a specific heading. I enjoyed reading about Daisy Deomampo’s involvement within the field of Anthropology. I would love to learn more about who she is, where she is from, contributions to anthropology, and more. You could potentially have a section describing one of Deomampo's important works. I came across another website that may be useful: http://fordham.academia.edu/DaisyDeomampo. It includes a list of her books and papers she has written, book reviews, journals, etc. Just be cautious with the first citation because it appears to be a personal website by D.D. so it might clash with Wikipedia’s citation standards. You could potentially create an “External Link” section, which could add further context. Overall, you have quite a bit of information to branch out from.

I look forward to reading this article! P18 (talk) 05:39, 9 March 2017 (UTC)

I agree you have the foundation for a good article. I think expanding on all of your information will make it stronger and easier to follow. Perhaps expanding on what her works have done for the field. I think your info now follows her education but not so much how she as excelled as a scholar. What exactly her graduate research was on is unclear. Perhaps give a brief synopsis on what her research was on as a section would help round out the article. Then also maybe adding a section that just goes over her awards/recognitions. Overall good start! I look forward to seeing more on the topic! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bls1996 (talkcontribs) 23:47, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi Arue, I really like what you did with your article! I agree with the above peer reviewers, and I definitely see that you have added a lot of the information. One thing that you could do is fix the format of her background/education section. I would do more of a bullet point version because it will look more organized, and it will make her education time line stand out more. One thing you can do is possibly add a picture of her receiving one of the awards or you can add a picture of books that she has published. I am not sure how other forms of wiki pages similar to this one look. However, I think a box on the side would be beneficial. It can include her birthday etc. It would also be nice to see more information on her upbringing/ personal life. For example, maybe she's an advocate for certain organizations. Maybe those would be important because then individuals will get more of a background based on her research etc.
