Nick Neri (born November 17, 1989), better known by his online pseudonym nickatnyte or simply Nick (formerly TeachBoomBeach), is an American game commentator and internet personality, currently known primarily for his Let's Play Clash Royale series on Youtube.[2] He was previously known primarily for his videos on the freemium mobile strategy games Boom Beach and Clash of Clans. All three games are developed and published by Finnish mobile game developer Supercell.[3] Therefore, Supercell has given him access to the developer build for Clash Royale, and access to leaks to Clash Royale updates.[4] Nickatnyte frequently collaborates with other Clash Royale Youtubers in his videos. Nickatnyte has attended eSports events hosted by Supercell and Youtube Gaming,[5][6] Currently, Nickatnyte, along with Keemstar and other Youtube Gamers, are sponsored by the energy drink company G-Fuel.[7]
Career
After studying audio engineering in school, Nickatnyte worked for Apple as a mobile device repair specialist at the Apple store. In 2014, he resigned from Apple and decided to pursue Youtube full-time.[citation needed]

Nickatnyte reached 1 million Youtube subscribers on May 21, 2016, and 2 million Youtube subscribers on February 8, 2017.[8] He was the 1,147th most subscribed Youtuber as of May 2017[9] In October 2016, Nickatnyte gained the most views of any Youtube Gaming channel.[10]
