Johnny Orlando (born January 24, 2003) is an Canadian singer and internet personality, who rose to fame via Youtube by posting cover versions of pop songs, especially songs by Justin Beiber and Austin Mahone. In 2015 Orlando started making his own music. Orlando is a spokesperson for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.[citation needed]
Early Life
Orlando was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 24, 2003 to Dale and Meredith Orlando. He was raised with his three sisters, Darian, Madison and Lauren Orlando.[citation needed] Orlando started posting cover versions to Youtube by the age of eight.
Music
Orlando's first studio album called VXIIXI was released in 2015. Since then, he has released three more singles and accompanying music videos for each: Let Go, Day and Night, and Missing You.[1]
Acting
Orlando has acted in commercials for Cadbury and Nutella.[2] He also voice acted in the animated film Bunyan and Babe,[3] the animated TV series Wishenpoof!,[4] the British Television Sitcom Spaced,[5] and the PBS Kids TV Show Super Why!.[6]
