Iain Armitage

Iain Armitage (born July 15, 2008) is an American theater critic[1][2] and child actor. He is the son of actor Euan Morton and theater producer Lee Armitage.[3] He is the grandson of government official Richard Lee Armitage.

In 2017, Armitage plays Ziggy Chapman in the HBO miniseries Big Little Lies.[3] He will appear in The Glass Castle, a film adaptation of Jeannette Walls' memoir of the same name.[3]

On March 13, 2017, CBS announced that it had ordered to series Young Sheldon, a prequel to the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, starring Armitage as the title character.[4]
