Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler

When their parents leave for Los Angeles for the weekend, Drake, Josh, and Megan are left home alone, and the boys are in charge. Drake irresponsibly spends all of the $200 that they were given to buy food, and they have to find a way to get more money. The boys decide to pretend that their home is a bed-and-breakfast. This pays well when one couple spends the night there, but then Drake brings 75 college students to the house. Things get worse; Megan finds out, and MTV sets up cameras at the house and broadcasts the party on TV. Josh desperately gets his boss Helen to come and end the party, but she finds herself as part of it.

Meanwhile, their parents are in Los Angeles, flipping through the TV channels, when they come across MTV, and notice the studio looks familiar. They call home and say they are coming. Drake and Josh enlist Megan's help to get the college students to leave. They come up with the idea that "monoxopuff gas", a fictional gas which makes one's eyes bleed, exists in the house. They pump green dye from the brothers' room through the ventilation system. Drake and Josh run down to the living room and tell the guests about the "monoxopuff" and points to a vent, where the green dye was being emitted. The people leave in a panic, and Drake, Josh, and Megan get the house cleaned up before their parents get home. Unfortunately, after Drake, Josh, and Megan head upstairs to turn off the "monoxopuff", the police arrive and arrest the parents for hosting a televised event in their home without a license. Drake, Josh, and Megan get back downstairs after the police take the parents down to the police station and wonder where they are.

Peruvian Puff Pepper: April 9, 2005

Peruvian Puff Pepper was the 22nd episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on April 9th, 2005, as a part of the early third season, which considered from fans as the meanest episode ever.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler When Josh enters a salsa making contest, Drake wants to help. Megan sabotages the first salsa Drake and Josh were making with an explosive powder. The salsa explodes on Drake, Josh, and the entire kitchen. They blame Megan for the sabotage, but are unable to convince their parents that Megan is "evil," even though they found some weird technology in her room (monitors that offer views of the whole house, a buzzer that zaps Josh's bottom, etc.) Megan decides that she wants to enter the contest herself. She orders a special pepper that is bound to win her the contest. Drake and Josh steal it, and narrowly win the contest. When they reveal their secret, (the "utilization of the Peruvian puff pepper") they lose their title, as the pepper is outlawed in the United States (it causes kidney problems and chapped lips) thus resulting in them getting disqualified and Megan winning the contest and the prize (a big Mitsubishi 45 inch plasma screen TV, spoofed as a "Yitsubishi" Plasma screen TV ). Josh then angrily tells Megan that him and Drake stealing the pepper, winning, and then losing to her, was her plan all along. Megan sarcastically denies this by saying that she's not that smart, when she really is.

Goofs

  • Even though Drake mentions the only occasion he has been in Megan's room was one point when she was 5 (She shoved Drake out the window and told Audrey he slipped and fell). However, in Grammy, Drake went into Megan's room to unpack Grammy's stuff, and in The Foam Finger when Drake gets into so big of a fight with Josh that he decides to move out of the room, he decides to move in with Megan.

We're Married: April 16, 2005

We're Married was the 23rd episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on April 16th, 2005, as a part of the third season.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler Josh is ecstatic when he discovers that his e-pal, Yooka, is coming all the way from the (fictional) country of Yudonia to the United States to visit him. He tries to make her feel as if she is still in Yudonia, but Drake suggests showing her American things.

Later, Drake and Josh eavesdrop on Yooka's call home. They mistranslate the Yudonian words for "sick of home," thinking she's "homesick," so they stage a special Yudonian ceremony for her. The ceremony turns out to be a wedding, and Drake becomes married to Yooka. With Josh's help, Drake finds a way to get the wedding annulled. Unfortunately, the plan is in motion when Drake learns that Yooka's father is a billionaire (it is unknown whether or not this is in American currency). Josh invites Yooka's parents to dinner and serves goat meat as the main course; since goats are sacred in Yudonia, Yooka's father splits the couple up. Yooka writes to Josh at the end of the episode, telling him that her new boyfriend received the Boston Red Sox as a gift from her father.

Trivia

  • The tune of Ick Von Schnye, a "Yudonian folk song" sung by Josh to Yooka, seems to be that of Jingle Bells.

Paging Dr. Drake: October 1, 2005

Paging Dr. Drake is the name of the 28th episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on October 1st, 2005 as a third season episode.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler

Josh drops a large barbell on his foot, due to Drake hitting Josh with a potato gun, and has to go to the hospital. He discovers that he will be having surgery in a few hours. While in his room, a doctor comes in. Josh asks about the surgery, and the man removes his mask, revealing that he is really Drake, who is impersonating a doctor (he claims that he's just pretending to be one) to impress the nurses.

Josh tells Drake that pretending to be a doctor is illegal and that Drake could (though Josh said "will") get thrown into jail. So Drake is about to take off the outfit when a real doctor (portrayed by Seinfeld's John O'Hurley) walks into the room. The doctor sees Drake and thinks he really is a doctor, let alone another person (Dr. Elliot Nussbaum, a famous medical practitioner), and asks him to perform a surgery in front of a group of medical students.

Drake is about to start the surgery, not knowing what to do, when Josh walks into the room, dressed as a doctor. He informs the "audience" that he and Drake (whom everyone thinks is someone else) are colleagues. They pretend to start surgery when Josh blurts out, "I kissed your wife." They started pretending to fight, and walk out of the room, leaving real doctors to do the surgery.

When Drake and Josh get back to Josh's room, Josh jumps back to the bed ( A blooper: If you have a keen eye, you can see that Josh's penis slipped out of his hospital suit when he was changing.) and John O'Hurley's character walks in with the real Dr. Nussbaum, and informs Drake that what he has done is illegal (even though Josh did earlier). Drake then jumps out of the window and breaks his arm and scrapes his cheek. Josh, remebering that he impersonated a doctor as well, follows Drake.

The next scene is at the boys' bedroom. Previously in this episode, Megan repaired the boys' thermostat system. Drake and Josh sit on the couch, and mention to each other how cold it is. The episode ends as it starts to snow in the room. Template:Episode navigation

The younger versions of Drake and Josh end up getting into a fight, causing the police to be called on two eight year-olds. Drake and Josh tell their side of the story, both saying that the other started the fight, Josh saying that Drake thumped him when he was looking away. When Drake produces the foam finger, Josh immediately rips it in half, and they won't let it go. Finally Megan decides to end the fight by bringing in the only person that can end the feud, the man who sold Drake the foam finger all those years ago. It is then discovered that Megan threw a cookie which hit Josh and started the fight.

Girl Power: October 15, 2005

Girl Power is the thirtieth episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on October 15th, 2005 as a third season episode.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler

In this episode, since Josh and Mindy have been dating for several months, Mindy feels that it is time for Josh to meet her parents for dinner at her house. Once there, Josh gives Mr. Crenshaw a box of chocolates and Mrs. Crenshaw some daisies. Mr. Crenshaw tells him that he is diabetic and Mrs. Crenshaw says that she is allergic to daisies. He then switches the gifts. Mrs. Crenshaw says chocolate gives her hives and Mr. Crenshaw says that in Czechoslovakia daisies are the flowers of death. Once they sit down, one of the bulbs from their chandelier starts blinking. Mrs. Crenshaw says that it is giving her a headache, so Josh stands on his chair and tightens the bulb while Mindy keeps muttering desperately, "Please don't fall." Josh does not fall, but the chandelier does.

Later, Josh fixes up his own dining room because he managed to convince Mindy's parents to come over for dinner. He tells Drake that he and his girlfriend Lucy, who are planning to have a wrestling match to prove who is tougher, have to stay upstairs, because if things do not go well, Mindy's parents will forbid her from dating Josh. Josh sends Drake and Lucy upstairs right before Mindy and her parents come over.

Things go well; Mindy's parents like the ice sculpture and the elderly harp player that Josh got. They say that they had the wrong impression about Josh, but then Drake and Lucy bring their wrestling match downstairs. They cause a ruckus, along with Megan and all the kids she charged to watch Drake and Lucy fight, so Josh breaks up the fight and angrily and sarcastically bellows, "IT'S A DRAW!" Once Mindy's parents find out that Drake is Josh's brother, they say that Mindy is not allowed to date Josh anymore. Josh yells at Drake about how he ruined his relationship, how he worked for two days and spent $400 on the ice sculpture and elderly harp player.

After Mindy's parents hear how much trouble Josh went through, they let them date again, and Mr. Crenshaw then asks why Drake and Lucy were fighting. Drake says that they were fighting to see who was tougher. Mr. Crenshaw says that men are genetically predispositioned to be better fighters then women; Mrs. Crenshaw says that it is untrue, and that whoever has better skills will claim victory. Then they start wrestling with each other while the others watch.

A scene at the end of the episode shows that Mindy has a little brother, Alden, who was supposed to make matters worse at Mindy's house and was appearently cut for time.

Sheep Thrills is the thirty-first episode of the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. It first aired on October 22nd, 2005 as a third season episode.

Plot synopsis

Template:Spoiler Drake and Josh think they hear a burglar in the middle of the night. They decide that the sound is coming from the garage, and go there. They are shocked to discover a sheep in the garage. Megan comes in, and reveals that she owns the sheep, who is named Baab (pronounced like the sound a sheep makes--"bahhhhhhhb"). She makes a deal with the boys; she won't play pranks on them for three months if they do not tell Audrey and Walter about Baab, and if they agree to keep Baab in their room and care for her. Tempted by three Megan-free months, the brothers agree. Shortly thereafter, the sheep has a baby, obviously making it much harder to keep the secret. After this, Drake, Josh and Megan realize the sheep is a female (Baab was called a "he"). Baab escapes, and Drake and Josh must work hard to keep the parents occupied while they get the sheep back. The parents discover the sheep, and Drake and Josh are grounded for a month. The episode ends when Drake and Josh hear something in the middle of the night again and find Megan with a zebra.
