Nova Scotia

It says here that Vernatti Baronets is a title in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. There is no link between the 1st Baronet and Canada. I assume the Baronetage of Nova Scotia is just wrong. Anyone? Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 17:23, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: This book says he participated in the Scottish glass industry, and this book says he was created baronet of Nova Scotia. Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 12:54, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This question seems to be answered: The Baronetage of Nova Scotia was created to subsidize colonies in Nova Scotia. Baronets were required to donate funds for that. It does not mean Baronets in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia were actually involved in Nova Scotia, if I'm correct. Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 22:05, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
