Francis Ommanney

Francis Molyneux Ommanney, Kt (4 October 1774 – 7 November 1840)[1]  was an English politician who represented Barnstaple from 1818 to 1824.[2]

The second son of Rear Admiral Cornthwaite Ommanney,[3] and brother of Admiral Sir John Acworth Ommanney[4] he married Georgiana Frances Hawkes in 1801: they had 9 children, one of whom (Erasmus)[5] himself became an Admiral.[6] A grandson,,[7] became a Rear Admiral.[8]
