Template:Infobox Pref GR Piraeus is one of the prefectures of Greece. It is part of the periphery of Attica and the Athens-Piraeus super-prefecture. The capital of the prefecture is the city of Piraeus. The prefecture covers the south-western part of the agglomeration of Athens, several islands in the Saronic Gulf (Salamis, Aegina, Poros a.o.), Methana and Troizina on the Peloponnese peninsula, and the islands Kythira and Antikythera south of the Peloponnese.
