Fleet Logisitic Support Squadron FIVE FIVE (VR-55) is a U.S. Navy C-130T squadron that provides a 24-hour logisitcal support to U.S. Naval forces deployed throughout the world. It's primary theaters of operation include Europe, Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Indian Ocean , Australia, and the Pacific Islands.

VR-55 is compromised of Full Time Support (FTS) and Naval Reservists (SELRES) who work together to accomplish the worldwide logisitcal support. On any given day these aircraft are dispatched globally in support of U.S. navy operationsl tasking.

The squadron is located at Naval Air Station Point Mugu which is approximately 45 minles north of Los Angeles, in Ventura County, California.
