Manturam Pakhira is an All India Trinamool Congress politician and a minister of state in the Council of Ministers of West Bengal. The son of Kalipada Pakhira, he is a social woker.[1]
Politics
Pakhira was first elected from Kakdwip Vidhansabha, south 24 pgns in 2001,[2] and again elected in 2011.[3] He was inducted as a Minister of State in charge of Sunderbans Development in November 2012.[4]
