Mark J. Rozell is dean of the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University in Virginia (USA). He also holds the Ruth D. and John T. Hazel Chair in Public Policy. Prior to joining the Mason faculty in 2004, he was Ordinary Professor and chair of the department of politics at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He writes books, academic articles and opinion columns primarily on the US presidency, executive privilege, the intersection of religion and US politics, and interest group politics. Rozell lectures extensively in the US and abroad and has appeared in most major US media as a political analyst.
