Nature of article
This is a daft article. No way in a million years are soccer and rugby codes of the same game, only Australians think they are. Rugby League and Rugby Union, yes certainly. Soccer though is an entirely different game, it has no more on common with rugby than it does with hockey.
- The article isn't suggesting that rugby and soccer are codes of the same game but rather that they are both 'football codes', which is a different concept and somewhat unique to Australia. And for the record rugby and soccer began as two different rule sets of 'foot-ball', with rule changes over the course of the 19th and early 20th centuries causing them to diverge into two different sports.Spinrad (talk) 03:27, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
