Achilles Frydman

Biography

He lived in Lodz where he took 4th place (1930, 1931, 1934) and tied for 5-6th (1933) in city championships. In 1935, he took 5th in Warsaw (3rd POL-ch). The event was won by Savielly Tartakower. In 1935, he took 7th in Lodz (Tartakower won). In 1936, he won in Lodz. In 1937, he resigned from the 4th Polish championships in Jurata because of illness.

In 1940, Achilles Frydman was arrested by Nazis in Warsaw, and died in a concentration camp.
