Comatmebro, thank you for your helpful edits and reviews of my articles! I have been trying to become more active and been making more contributions to pages about cricket. A couple of my articles are under AfD, and I would appreciate if you could have a look at them and provide your thoughts, too. All best, Climate7298 (talk) 06:33, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
Philippe K Ziade is back, after being deleted.
Hello, Comatmebro. While looking through new articles, I came across Philippe K Ziade. The article is terribly promotional - at first I tried to clean it up but I suspect that it might be a lost cause. Then I found that you had proposed an article by the same name for deletion just a week ago. I can't see that original article - can you comment on whether this is still as bad, and should also be deleted? --Gronk Oz (talk) 14:19, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- I should also ping the other editors involved in deleting the original article: Reddogsix, Rawad00. --Gronk Oz (talk) 14:22, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- Done Never mind; the article has since been Speedy Deleted. --Gronk Oz (talk) 23:41, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

Rawad00 Dears, Philippe Ziade is a living entrepreneur and there's another Philippe Ziade on wikipedia which creating many confusion. I am an aerospace engineer and not an expert editor like you on wikipedia. I created myself the article gathering online references after watching many TV interviews featuring this guy and wanted to be my first article and learn more wikipedia tweaks to participate in other scientific articles. The intention wasnt in any way promotional and I hope you can help me creating the article in the correct wikipedia guidelines. Could you guys help?
Reddogsix Gronk Oz Comatmebro Please help in making the article suitable for wikipedia guidelines, instead of deleting the article, help me creating it in the right way, it's not in any way intentionally made for any promotional reasons. I have contacted the Wikipedia information team who assured that admins will help instead of going to the easiest solution of deletion. But instead making an effort in contributing.
- Hello, Rawad00. An admin, Drewmutt, took a different approach - instead of deleting that article, he/she moved it to a draft, at Draft:Philippe K Ziade. This will allow you (and others) to work on the article before it "goes live" and is held up to more scrutiny. The cut-down article there now is much better. Your first step should be to collect sources that are independent (not written by the subject or his company) and which discuss him in some detail. Then write the article based on what those articles say, without adding your own personal knowledge or point of view (that is often the hard part). Also, you should look at cutting down the excessive list of external links; it is not apparent why most of them are pertinent (there is a good guideline on what should not be linked at "Links normally to be avoided "). --Gronk Oz (talk) 01:52, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- Well, just to be clear, I'm not an admin. But everything else is true, and thanks for the compliment! Drewmutt (^ᴥ^) talk 01:57, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- Gronk Oz Drewmutt, Thank you, will keep improving it and any collaboration you provide is highly appreciated. --Rawad00
