Press Kit

Sony Pictures Publicity has released a press kit for the movie (Press Kit -> Credits). It includes full end credits, with character names and other cast not included in the article. --Escudero (talk) 17:16, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it has been removed. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 22:16, 23 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Does anyone have a mirror? Otherwise we can't verify the information it's cited for. LoveWaffle (talk) 18:57, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@LoveWaffle: This link has a picture of the page with the major characters. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 19:31, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Emir of Wikipedia: ComicBookMovie.com is a questionable source. Can we verify the picture of the cast list they have is the one from the press list and not something they or someone else mocked up? LoveWaffle (talk) 20:36, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@LoveWaffle: I know the questionably of CBM which is why I have not added it to the article. I actually downloaded the file and viewed it whilst it was up so I can confirm that it is the same and not some random thing. Comic Book Resources has this article which has no mention of CBM, so it is not WP:POISONOUSFRUIT. If someone is a "Sony Pictures authorized publicists" then I think they could possibly login and view it.

Escudero How did you find this link in the first place? Do you have a login for Sony Pictures Publicity? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 20:56, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, I simply checked that site last friday, when the file was available. I don't know why they removed it. --Escudero (talk) 07:21, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Writing teams

Do we really have to write the screenplay writers' names in the order that they're in right now? I don't think it's important to have it that way in the lead sentence. They should at least be written that way in the "Production" section instead. Tjdrum2000 (talk) 22:14, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Captain America

I've edited this article a few times saying that Chris Evans reprises his role in old educational videos watched by Peter and his classmates, but it keeps getting reverted to "in archival footage from Civil War." Chris Evans does appear in archival footage from the airport battle, but he also shot wholly new footage specifically for Homecoming, and the article should reflect that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.102.71.136 (talk) 23:40, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's still getting reverted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.1.193.196 (talk) 20:54, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Post-credits scenes

There is always a discussion after a film about whether the post-credits scenes are notable enough to the film's plot to be included in the plot summary. In this case, I don't feel that either should be mentioned. The mid-credits scene is potentially setting up a future villain, but in the film it just plays as a small character beat for Toomes after the credits that could maybe be mentioned in his character section, rather than an actual plot point. And the second one is definitely not important to the plot. - adamstom97 (talk) 07:33, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nevertheless, it is still important. There are other instances where the post-credit scenes are not important, but are still worth noting.
I think the mid-credits scene can be mentioned, but I'm fine with the post-credit one not being mentioned. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:47, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add wikilinks for Sally, Seymour, Abraham, Cindy, Charles or Tiny. Doing so is WP:OR and WP:SYNTH because they are neither credited with full names, nor are full names shown in the film or are they called by them. A reliable source would need to be provided stated that they are indeed these characters, NOT speculating they are their comic counterparts. As with Ned and Liz, many of these characters share similar names to the comic counterparts, but are amalgamations of various characters and may not because them. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:36, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Change 'patience' to 'patient' in the Plot section, in the sentence 'In a post-credits scene, Captain America gives a PSA on being patience.' 114.77.203.243 (talk) 07:40, 8 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
