Thanks for the tip

Thanks for the tip on my user talk page. I hadn't tried using the warning templates before - I just tried it and it seems to work well. –Wookipedian 07:45, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thanks for the advice Kukini, I will be sure to follow it. Vinnievesh 09:05, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Lethaniol

Hi Kukini,

Thats for your post on my Talk page - just wondering if this was a general welcome or if you spoting that I was doing something wrong while tagging New Pages if inappropriate.

Cheers

Cheers

Very prompt and friendly:) --Lethaniol 16:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

MerckSource

Some Advice please Kukini - the page MerckSource - I highlighted as a possible advert and user deleted. How can far do you think these big companies can go before such pages are considered adverts?

Cheers

Brackets in quotation

I just undid your addition of brackets inside a quotation in The Path to 9/11. Please read the summary of my edit. If you know of, or can find a better way for it to look, then please modify it to that, but it isn't meant to be a link. A link is already made to that article anyway, and there's no need to have multiple links in prose to the same article. Thanks though. --luckymustard 17:32, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. I will familiarize myself with the rules, conventions, etc. But! The first thing I did was upload an image by mistake to Wikipedia, instead of my own wiki. Any way to undo that? Truthboy 22:57, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ta very much

That was useful, totally forgot to have edit summaries.

Keep up the good work. PeterCT 21:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC) (oh yeah, supposed to sign these too)[reply]

On behalf of my school

When I got on Wikipedia today at school, I noticed a message for this I.P. I am aplogizing on behalf of the Juvinile Delinquents here at my school, who feel it is funny. I am sorry for this.

Vandalism

I think the repeated, identical deletions on David Loren Cunningham amount to vandalism. I'm not sure the proper procedure for dealing with this. Thanks for keeping an eye on it. Lagringa 07:34, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thanks for the weclome note. OBILI ® ± 17:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

University of Nations

At least one of the IP's doing the reverts/deletions on the David L Cunningham article are traceable to The University of Nations. Not that I am terribly surprised.

Hi there swift and valued runner Kukini!

Thank you so much for supporting my RfA! It ended up passing and I'm rather humbled by the support (and a bit surprised that it was snowballed a day early!). Please let me know if I can help you out and I welcome any comments, questions, or advice you wish to share.

Quick Question

Thanks for the kudos, people are always telling me I know alot of stuff and with a little research, voila, that crap is verifiable, as they say around here. I like adding to the site, it gives me a chance to add some stuff that I really think ought to be here.

Quick Question: How do you add links in the text to the reference list, I want to do it for the Rock Springs Massacre article I added, in fact in some cases I really need to.

A mcmurray 04:09, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What if?

What if there isn't a copy of the reference on the web, as is the case with a lot of the old article I referenced?

A mcmurray 05:11, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback

I rewrote this article Lou Albano and I would appreciate feedback . I'm still working on correcting grammar and spelling errors. Feedback is appreciated. Here is the "Before" and here is the After. Thank you. Kyros 23:08, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I was actually in the process working on footnotes. I want to get this article to Good Article status. Thank you, if you have any other feedback, let me know. Kyros 02:36, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, just got those footnotes done. Thanks! Kyros 03:04, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contents question

Is there a way to alter the table of contents, like, say, move it? A mcmurray 00:14, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

I've gotten into the habit of hitting tab and then enter rather than explaining writing an edit summary. ;) This is me, I'm using my crappy AOL IPs: 69.145.123.171 Yes, I'm really an IP Sunday, September 17, 2006, 06:26 (UTC)

'Tis indeed me. I've actually been avoiding edit summaries as to stay undercover, if you will. I don't want imposters pretending to be me bumping around with AOL IPs, so I've been very discreet. It's a stupid idea, I know, but all my new IPs follow the exact same vien. So I really can't be impersonated. I figured someone would call be up on it eventually, I just didn't know when. ;) 69.145.123.171 Yes, I'm really an IP Sunday, September 17, 2006, 06:32 (UTC)
User:69.145.123.171/registering. I can't sign in under the IP and I can't register. Bummer, no? We should get a static IP back soon, though. I really should start using the normal sig stamp. 69.145.123.171 Yes, I'm really an IP Sunday, September 17, 2006, 06:39 (UTC)

I am not a vandal!

Done. Yooouuu managed to block yourself. :) Luna Santin 20:17, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:4.21.182.18 and vandalism

I noticed you gave the IP 4.21.182.18 a final warning back in June, I just reverted Wind power after this IP/user vandalised it. I can't see an appropriate section to report it in as the user hasn't had a vandalism warning for so long.

If you don't mind, I'll let you deal with it. :) --B33R 17:16, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting your page

Just an FYI: a user (Bartleby007) put a {{helpme}} tag on this page. I've removed it and offered him help on his talk page. (I suspect he may be upset that you've warned him a number of times.) Cheers! -- Merope Talk 18:39, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not Upset

Hi Kukini, I left a help msg. for you earlier and Merope assisted me. I just wanted to clarify that I am NOT upset that you reverted my edits today on two bios - I understand now why you did, and apologize for my beginner's mistakes. I understand the procedures better now and would like to return at some point to those bios to make additions and edits - indeed, I have already left 2 new discussion points on one, which I hope you will take a look at and approve. Thanks Bartleby007 22:27, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Newbie Here

Hey Mr. Kukini, I'm a brand new user and I desperately need an introduction to wikipedia and editing/formatting. Thanks, nice to meet ya. --DrZeus 05:25, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Strange attack on Cyrus Nowrasteh

I am at a loss for why you would revert any page to one with heavily slanted editorial. The page for Cyrus Nowrasteh contains reference to a "sourced investigation" alleging that Nowrasteh or his family were involved in giving anonymous acclamations for his work. The so-called "investigation" were the views of one blogger, and the claims that the blogger brings cannot be verified by the link from the blog site to IMDB. In the future I will consider that the easiest way to defame a person and his family is to pose as one of them using publicly available information (such as the name of a wife and/or a hometown), and then pretend to inveigle the public on sites such as IMDB. No doubt some blogger will pick up the scent and further the deception, or perhaps even a wikipedia entry or three might be updated with additional disreputable statements! I am also vexed as to why you refuse to address the issue, and prefer to delete this from your talk page. Forgive me for not logging in every 10 minutes, but is this your way of dismissing even a vague notion that perhaps you are contributing to biased information? EddieH 00:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

From what I can see...EddieH has not edited at all on the article Cyrus Nowrasteh, thus the above message is quite confusing. Hopefully, this editor is not aiming to defame people as noted above. Kukini 01:24, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the Cyrus Nowrasteh article on 18 September, 2006, at 22:45PM, not realizing at the time that I was not logged in. For some reason unbeknownst to the world, you reverted the edit. If you did that because I did not do the edit under a registered username, I think the reversion undermines the principle of wikipedia. I have no interest in defaming anyone - I think my original edit clarified the facts of the allegation, thus diminishing any possible defamation against Mr. Nowrasteh. If I appear to be a bit irritated, it is because the text on the page as it appeared before my edit was heavily biased, and did more to bring disrepute to his family than to bring to light the nature of the allegations. Here is my argument: 1) The allegation came from the Huffington Post, a self-proclaimed blog site - not the news media, not a "sourced investigation" in the least ... 2) The page on IMDB does not confirm any identifiable information as to the user that potentially acclaimed the film in question ... 3) The allegation involves only two pieces of identifiable information linked to Mr. Nowrasteh -- his wife's name and their hometown, both publicly available information ... 4) There could possibly be more than one person named Betsy living in Camarillo, CA ... 5) The post on IMDB could just as easily have been placed maliciously by someone intending to portray Mr. Nowrasteh in a negative light, given that all of the identifiable information was publicly available. The fact that you reverted my edit with no explanation whatsoever leaves me completely nonplussed. EddieH 03:48, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade
Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!

David Loren Cunningham page

Hi Kukini, since you seem to have been monitoring the above page, I thought I'd mention I just did some editing there and left notes on the discussion page. It seems that someone had gone in and done extensive editing, but with no notes on the discussion page and no edit summary that I could find. Anyway, I wanted to alert you that I had gone in to try to make sense of what had been done. Thanks Bartleby007 16:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More on Cunningham

Thanks for your quick response as always, Kukini. I made more changes including deletions that I'm sure you'll want to check. I argued my case in the discussion page. Looking forward to your thoughts - thanks for your attention. Bartleby007 17:31, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Follow-up

Kukini, thanks for indenting the quotation I added - I wanted to do that but wasn't sure how. Sorry about forgetting my signature - I usually remember. I still feel, however, that the controversy is extensively covered on The Path to 9/11 and Cyrus Nowrasteh pages and that my deletions take nothing away from the informaton about Cunningham. Also, about my deletion of the word "mysterious" - that seems to me to be a POV word implying something secretive about titling the miniseries "Untitled History Project" - there is no mystery at all; in fact, as everyone in Hollywood knows, projects are referred to in such a manner whenever a title has not yet been decided upon. Is it better to delete the word or for me to add this explanation? Is this something I simply put up for discussion? (oops, forgot my signature again) Bartleby007 19:31, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cyrus Nowrasteh

Greetings Kukini, I requested a few changes on the Discussion page of the above entry. Could you take a look at your convenience and give me your thoughts? Thanks as usual Bartleby007 17:20, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
