Enoch Kavindele

Enoch Kavindele is a Zambian politician who has served as the Vice-President of Zambia. He has called for a common African currency as a means to achieve economic integration throughout the continent. He is Chairman of the North West Rail line running from Chingola to Solwezi in Zambia. The $1bn project, in partnership with Zambian government, is part financed by the African Development Bank and the Development Bank of Southern Africa. In November 2000, he was appointed as the country health minister and served in the position till 2002, until being replaced by Brian Chituwo.
