BLACKPINK is the upcoming debut Japanese album by South Korean girl group Black Pink. It is set to be released on August 30, 2017.
Background
On May 2017, it was reported that the group will be helding a debut showcase at Nippon Budokan on July 20 and will release their debut album on August 9.[1][2]
On July 13, it was officially announced that the debut album of the group will be an extended play called BLACKPINK and will be release on August 30.[3] On the same day, the PV of "Boombayah" in japanese was released.[4]
