Rabab Hashim (Urdu/Template:Lang-pa) is a well-known Pakistani actress and model. She is best known for her central roles in popular TV drama series, Mannat, Aik Thi Misaal, Ishqaway[1] and Na Kaho Tum Mere Nahi.
Career
Rabab Hashim (often spelled as Rubab Hashim too) was born on 28 November 1992 in Karachi, Pakistan, and made her debut on the silver screen by being a child reporter for GeoTV at a mere age of 10. She received her BBA (Hons.) in the major of Marketing from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi and received her formal training in theater arts from National Academy of Performing Arts (Pakistan)by graduating from there with full honors.[2] Her first conspicuous debut on TV was with the successful soap aired from HumTV, Na Kaho Tum Mere Nahi with Ahsan Khan and Saba Qamar, from 2012 to 2013, followed by a number of successful drama series since then, most significantly Ishqaway and Mannat. She has come to be known as one of the prominent and serious actors in the Pakistani acting arena.[3] In addition to acting and appearing in a number of commercials as a model, she has lately appeared as a host or anchor in a few TV programs and sports shows, including a sports show "Khelo aur Jeeto" (Geo Super channel) and the T20 World Cup transmissions (ICC World Twenty20. She is a host of a program "Social diaries" aired by TV One.
She is an avid reader and a connoisseur of good books.
