Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo were the defending champions, but chose not to participate together. Dodig plays alongside Rohan Bopanna. Melo teamed up with Łukasz Kubot, but lost in the second round to Fabrice Martin and Édouard Roger-Vasselin.

With Melo and Kubot's loss, Henri Kontinen will regain the ATP no. 1 doubles ranking if he and John Peers reach the semifinals.
